Earlier in September, Macklemore shared video from his appearance at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, where he performed during Sheeran’s concert. While introducing his protest song “Hind’s Hall,” he repeated the phrase “Free Palestine!”
He also addressed Jewish audience members, arguing that criticism of Israel, apartheid and genocide should not be treated as criticism of Jewish people.
