At Least 11 Killed in Russian Attacks Across Ukraine

Ukraine’s Air Force said Russia launched 129 drones, Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles, eight Kalibr cruise missiles and six Kh-59/69 guided missiles. About half of the drones used in the assault were reported to have jet engines.
Air-defence units said they destroyed or electronically disrupted 110 airborne targets, including six Kalibr missiles, two Kh-59/69 missiles, a S-8000 Banderol cruise missile launched from a drone, and 101 unmanned aerial vehicles.
Odesa and other regions report civilian casualties
Odesa was a key target in the overnight barrage. At about 5:30 a.m., Ukraine’s Air Force warned that Russian cruise missiles were approaching the Black Sea port city. A multi-storey residential building was damaged, and at least 35 people were injured across the wider Odesa region.

Odesa regional governor Oleh Kiper said a five-month-old baby and a 17-year-old were among those injured. Several victims required hospital treatment as emergency services assessed the damage.
In Dnipropetrovsk region, one person was killed and 19 were injured in Dnipro after attacks involving drones, artillery and aerial bombs damaged an industrial facility, homes, garages and vehicles. A separate strike on an industrial plant in Kryvyi Rih killed one person and injured three others.
Regional governor Oleksandr Hanzha said two people were killed and at least 22 wounded in Dnipropetrovsk region, including a child. A 54-year-old man was hospitalised in serious condition.
Zaporizhzhia region reported two deaths and 11 injuries after attacks on 45 towns and villages over 24 hours. Five missile strikes targeted Zaporizhzhia city. In Donetsk region, four people were killed and five injured, including fatalities in Sloviansk, Kramatorsk and Yasnohirka.
At least 11 killed in Russian strikes also included casualties in Kyiv, Sumy and Kharkiv regions. In Kyiv region, one person was killed and three injured, including a child, after drones hit five districts. A 68-year-old man was killed in Sumy region, while a 32-year-old man died during an attack on Kharkiv.
Kherson region recorded 18 injuries. Authorities said residential districts, critical infrastructure and social facilities were damaged, including apartment buildings, shops, a petrol station, an ambulance and private vehicles.
Ukraine targets Russian industrial facilities
As at least 11 killed in Russian attacks were reported in Ukraine, Ukrainian defence forces confirmed a strike on the Tolyattikauchuk plant in Russia’s Samara region. The facility supplies products used by Russia’s military-industrial complex, and the strike caused a fire.
The scale of the damage is still being assessed.
Tolyattikauchuk produces synthetic rubber, monomers, fractions and additives used in high-octane fuels. Ukrainian military officials have said synthetic rubber is important for solid fuel used in short-range missiles and ballistic rockets.
Ukrainian forces had previously struck the Machine-Building Plant in Snizhne, in Russian-occupied territory of Donetsk region. The latest operations came as Kyiv continued to target facilities linked to Russia’s military production and logistics.
