Iran Military Says It Targeted US Bases Across Three Nations

The Iranian armed forces announced on Friday that multiple bases across the region came under attack using drones and missiles. According to official statements broadcast by state television, the operation involved Arash kamikaze drones striking critical infrastructure at the Isa Air Base in Bahrain, including fuel storage facilities, equipment warehouses, and military barracks.
Coordinated Attacks Across Multiple Locations
The Iranian military’s statement detailed how various units participated in the simultaneous operations. In Bahrain, the Revolutionary Guards claimed responsibility for targeting both military installations and an Amazon data centre, though neither the technology company nor Bahraini officials have verified these claims. Meanwhile, Iranian forces reported hitting aircraft hangars and maintenance facilities at Jordan’s Al-Azraq base. Jordan’s military confirmed intercepting seven missiles and six drones, noting that the defensive operations resulted in no casualties or significant material damage.
Further south, Kuwait became another focal point of Iranian military action. The Iranian army announced that drones were launched against US equipment warehouses at Camp Udairi, while additional strikes targeted American military personnel stationed at Camp Doha and Camp Arifjan. The Revolutionary Guards, serving as the military’s ideological branch, separately reported destroying an ammunition depot at Ali Al Salem Air Base and inflicting casualties among US service members. They also claimed to have struck equipment storage silos at Camp Udairi and a US Fifth Fleet watchtower in Bahrain.
“For every proud citizen of the Islamic Republic of Iran who is martyred, one American service member will be sent to hell,” Ali Abdollahi, head of Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya central military command, was quoted as saying by the state broadcaster.
Ali Abdollahi delivered a stern warning to American personnel stationed throughout the region on Friday. The Iranian commander stated that Tehran had “prepared free, one-way tickets to hell” for US forces operating in the Middle East. His comments underscored the escalating tensions between the two nations following Washington’s recent military actions against Iranian targets.
Bahraini authorities responded to the attacks by confirming they had intercepted and destroyed “a number of Iranian aerial aggressions.” The Bahraini government accused Tehran of targeting civilian areas during the operations. An explosion and subsequent warning sirens were reported across Bahrain on Friday, though officials have not yet clarified whether these incidents were directly connected to the Iranian strikes or occurred separately.
As of the latest reports, the United States has not officially confirmed whether any of its facilities or personnel were affected by the Iranian military operations. The situation remains fluid as both nations assess the extent of the damage and determine their next steps.
