How the Teddy Tracker System Works
The airline has partnered with Life360 to provide customers with complimentary tile trackers that attach directly to their children’s stuffed companions. These small devices use Bluetooth technology to connect with smartphones, allowing parents to locate their toy’s position through the Life360 app. Families will be able to collect their teddy trackers at easyJet bag drop counters starting from 31 July at four UK airports: London Gatwick, Manchester, Edinburgh, and Belfast. Availability is limited, so customers should arrive early while supplies last.
The process is remarkably straightforward. Parents simply attach the tracker to the toy, download the Life360 application onto their mobile device, and connect it via Bluetooth. Once set up, the tracker begins monitoring the toy’s location in real-time. Stuart Wright, customer director at easyJet holidays, explained the motivation behind the initiative: “For many children, a favourite teddy or comfort toy is an important part of the journey and losing it can be upsetting at what should be an exciting time.”

A comprehensive poll conducted by easyJet surveyed more than 1,000 parents of children aged under 10 years old. The results revealed that 55% of parents would alter their holiday plans to retrieve a missing companion if it became separated from them during travel.
The survey also uncovered fascinating insights into which stuffed animals children prefer to bring on holiday. In 2026, the most popular travel companion is a stuffed bunny, accounting for 26% of responses. Teddy bears follow closely behind at 25%, while action figures and dolls represent 15% of the total. When it comes to naming their beloved toys, the most frequently reported names are Bunny, Teddy, Fluffy, and Billy.
