A new phase of investigation has been mandated, featuring testimony from the family’s therapist, the businessman’s daughters, his partner, and the company’s chief executive, Toni Ruiz. The court has also directed a forensic reconstruction of the incident that took place in Montserrat on 14 December 2024.
Jonathan Andic, the eldest son and sole companion during the hike, remains a central figure in the case. The judge has summoned approximately ten individuals from the family and professional network, including the therapist who worked with multiple family members, Sarah and Judith Andic, Toni Ruiz, and members of the Mossos d’Esquadra mountain intervention unit. Additionally, the family’s secretary and two first responders at the scene have been called to provide statements.
